Having never before experienced Tim Hortons I ventured in the for a Cappuchino the other day. What I was served was a sickly caramel tasting liquid that tasted about 1/2 caramel 1/2 sugar.

As a diabetic I immediately threw this in the bin and I will not be going there again.

Its bloody awful stuff. I don't get it at all

I have to admit that most "fast-food" places serve awful stuff that mostly has the distinctly unpleasant aroma of excrement about it, Tim Horton's being the worst. It's like the special-needs of fast food restaurants.

What they need here is a good old-fashioned pie shop.

One doesn't want to harp on, but the nutritional content of the otherwise acceptable ham & swiss was rendered inaccessible by the application of this smear of yellow grease.

My cousin's holiday was ruined by the trauma she received when she bit into one of these ham and swiss sandwiches.

Can you imagine the scene? A retired primary school teacher from Northumberland innocently orders a simple sandwich for her lunch. She bites into it, and, well I was there and the expression on her face was fearsome.

The sandwich was dissected then the smeared piece of bread was discarded and the ham was wiped. There was tutting and exclamations such as "well", "they never mentioned mustard", "is that what this is?".

It was a difficult moment. Then she tried the redrose tea.....
