Never had much luck with naan from the supermarket until we found this. Its pretty good. Although you might have to get it at an Indian supermarket.

Yeah, the naan's we have aren't the best. On occasion we go to the save-on-foods just over in mission and they have a big south asian section. Maybe I'll look in there to see if they have that brand (last time we went I stocked up on lime pickle, but we are nearly out of it now because I keep using it in cheese sandwiches).

We shop at this shop. Sabzi Mandi Ltd. but I think they have other locations.

Some sort of unidentified dried out meat and oversalted, boiled-to-death vegetables, for a change.

Tonight I'm having turkey fried rice. I'm adapting my recipe for chicken fried rice - it's a bit of a radical change, so I hope it works out.

I'm debating whether to have a piece of a rather pleasant Stilton, some spicy salami, prosciutto and pickled onions or order in curry.

Ungrateful sod. Do you know how hard the poor taxpayers have to work to keep you fed while you're playing cops & robbers?

For "dinner" its Shepherds pie with carrots, peas and brocolli with homemade apple crumble and custard for pudding, back of the net!

I'll be round at 6. Don't make the custard too runny.

This evening I had smoked wild salmon, boeuff bourginon and a cheese platter. In a restaurant in Norway. It was good, but eating out in Norway makes Canada seem cheap. Even for cheese.

Saturday night a roast turkey dinner. Sunday lunch turkey sandwiches. Sunday evening roast turkey leftovers. Monday lunch turkey sandwiches. Monday evening roast turkey leftovers. Tuesday lunch turkey sandwiches. Tuesday evening turkey stir-fry. Wednesday lunch - let's see - ah, yes, turkey sandwiches.

I am beginning to get just an incy wincy bit tired of turkey.
