Do like book and a nice challenge to see how long it takes to make them all
I use online recipes, do you think the book is better than online sources?

Yes, it explains a lot and demystifies much of Indian cuisine. now after using these recipes, found that Indian restaurant food tastes greasy and all the flavours seem to mushed together while the ones from the book taste fresh.

Have a look at Mamta's kitchen, its online. Use her revipes not all the silly add inones. There are some for basic curry sauces that give precise instructions, ie fry for 10 seconds. I've also used some Indian blogger recioes which are good. Will look out for this book though.

They look okay. I'd say you for freshness you need to grind your own spices including chill powder and make ginger, garlic and onion paste.

4 lbs of Alaskan King Crab for tea last night on sale at Dominion for $7.99 a pound - excellent taste with melted butter for dipping
One downside is that I can shit though the eye of a needle at 20 paces this morning

Nice. The crabbing here has been pretty poor and the pawning and fishing even poorer. At the moment there really doesn't seem much point to the place.

The commercial blokes and Indians have pretty much cleared them out in the summer so it won't really be worth setting traps until late January. Shame really.

I'm at a complete loss as what to have for my tea. HID has gone to some meeting where they'll give her a posh dinner and all my workmates have buggered off this morning as its Thanksgiving, leaving me bereft of someone to go out to dinner with. Also, I can't have Nando's again as I've just had it for lunch the other day. I suppose it'll have to be an uninspiring pizza.

Why not an inspiring pizza. That would be nicer.

All pizzas are uninspiring outside the NY tri-state area.
