The frustrating thing is it was all so predictable after Jimmy dropped Pujara on single figures (?). <sigh>

Healthy lead, or a big collapse on the cards tonight.
Would be nice to see a big KP ton but I think he may do summat daft within the first half hour

Well played Alistair Cook. England's leading centurion in Test (aka 'proper') cricket.
Although KP has a chance to match him later.....

I’m with you on test cricket. I don’t have the patience for the other formats although I do like proper country cricket. I envision my retirement days sipping pints of bitter in the members pavilion at Canterbury and having a good grumble. Cricket is a fantastic sport for moaning as it has so many variables.

Fair play to Cook.

Very interesting tour of country cricket and the folk that attend the games.
I love test match cricket, nothing beats it if you ask me. I have the feed on willow.tv from 10ish each night.

Well that was all rather jolly, wasn't it ?
All the batsmen contributed, Jimmy, Swann, Monty all among the wickets.
Shame about Broad & Bres being off the boil and Finn getting injured, but there you go.
Roll on NZ next year.
What ? ODI and Twenty20 ? No thanks, surely nobody watches that old rubbish, do they ?
