St George's flag, denied!!!

Most of what you say can be likened with many immigrants who write on this board.

God you guys are great, there's no wonder people don't want to make posts on here because the same predictable group, i.e the majority who've attacked myself and exilelass now ,as she had the audacity to agree with me.
I posted this thread because I was told of the Town centre ban on St George's Flags and it made me angry and sad. I have lived here on and off for the last 38 years and over the last 8 years it has degenerated rapidly.
Exilelass has it bang on when she says not all areas of England are "swamped" but some areas are and it causes public disharmony, well I would class my area as one that is "swamped", not the village where I live but the surrounding areas definately and the impact has been very noticeable.
I know of a lot of English who are unhappy with the situation.
I wasn't aware that I needed hard evidence to back up what I was saying, forgive me I thought I was posting on a public forum not going to court!!!!
I obviously decided to come on here and fabricate stories just for the hell of it, its time for me to go back and wave my flag and writing BS articles for the Daily Mail!!! (That was sarcasm for those who've forgotten)
It is however funny that some of you think you know more what goes on in this country who don't live here anymore than those of us who are still here on a day to day basis just because you have access to the internet. Oh and by the way, theres alot more outside of London to what is now England!

Your post was 'attacked' because it is bollocks. You can't post that kind of uninformed crap and not expect people to call you on it.

Indeed. But only because the host is filled with drugs to supress their immune system and thereby stop them from rejecting the organ; which they would do naturally.

It is up to us, as immigrants ourselves, to integrate ourselves into Canadian society and not expect it to change to us. I fully believe every culture has the right to observe its own heritage behind closed doors, but once out in the host country, you have to adapt and adopt.

Also, what is the "impact" and what makes it "noticeable"?
What is it about "the situation" that people are unhappy with?
Given the way you seem to view immigrants I am amazed you want to move to somewhere like Canada which (in certain areas) is a real cultural, cosmopolitan melting pot. One of the things I like about the place. The lack of diversity is one of the reasons I left Norfolk.

Immigrants diverging on one area is common the world over, not just England. I'm sure there are a number of locals wherever it may be who aren't happy with that either.
What both yourself and Exilelass appear to be getting at is the sheer number of immigrants having the audacity to move to another country and keep as much of their previous life as possible with the bonus of pleasant surroundings. Surely that's the same as many people on here, including you both?
Finally, i see we're confusing attacks on pure generalisation (potentially bigoted) posts and concise, tangible posts.

What is it you think that immigrants to the UK (or anywhere else) are expecting it to change for them?
