What a big teddy bear of a dog, adorable, you won't ever regret it - except when trying to gain an inch of the sofa
No Gozit, there is no point ranting, but if you are having one can I bloody well join in.
It's freezing cold and wet! I have done my very best this year, not to disappear down the rabbit hole of winter misery that I have before, and my family have noticed the difference. I've been trying hard! My son said on the way to work and school this morning "Mum we need a car with a heated steering wheel", my response was "No, we need to live somewhere we don't need a heated steering wheel in April".
Now is beyond a joke! If I had Souvy's lovely pup I would kick it (or hug it)!

Its just cold here, with a lovely (not) white sky thats reminiscant of UK skies on many days, an ambience I just loathe.
I hate the Spring in NS. Not only does it have the hated grey/white skies, its also cold. Meh!

I also have two family members who had their flights back to Toronto cancelled over the weekend... the rebooked flights are behind schedule now as well.

Last year was my first NS spring and I was climbing the walls for just a hint of warmth. But it is the colour that cracks me up... the sky can be white, but the landscape is grey-ish with no real sign of life unless you get up close and personal with a tree. I have noticed some small buds, but they are wisely wrapped up tight still.

Snow and rain forecast all night. Then tomorrow I'll probably have to turn the A/C on.

Raining hard on the west coast.
Snow warnings have been issued for all the mountain passes.

It's changed to rain here and it looks like there will be a lot of it. The temperature is also warming up. This ice won't be around long.
On a lighter note, I decided on Friday to give Souvette what she wanted. She didn't argue and neither did our son. It was done quickly, with me paying, naturally. This thing is currently at our son's place, waiting to be brought here.
It would help if I knew how to attach pictures...........

)Yup, you'll never find me complaining about the heat in the summer, no matter how hot it gets

Today's Spring Satus is that there was freezing rain and that left a bed of ice. Then there was a lot, more than a foot, of snow, I cleared the driveway with the tractor, then it snowed again so the recent freezing rain put a crust on it and now it's cold and snowing again. The plough has just been along so I'll have to clear the end of the driveway again.
An ex lives halfway up an Alp, she reports that it's 15 and sunny and she's been doing lots of work in the garden.

It wazzed down yesterday. That was a good thing. It got rid of the ice.
Now, of course, it is snowing again.
I told Souvette the other day I wished she was Australian. I would have followed here there instead of here. She agreed.
