Well done on passing the map.

What's the process for the written part? How many attempts to you get? Are there practice questions etc? Do you have to do the map part again when you redo the written part, or just the written part and the map is done now?

At least now you can focus on just the written part (assuming you don't have to write the map again).

Last chance for the test next week. Been studying away, so hopefully I can pass. I figure 50/50 chance at passing.

If any of us can be of help, do shout!

Keeping everything crossed for you :fingerscrossed: and wishing you luck - but I don't think you need it, just do your best - that's all anyone can do!

I have been reading all month so hopefully Ill pass.

Its a lot of pressure which leads to stress. We are up the creek if I dont pass and I end up jobless.

I'm studying at the moment. The study guide I am using says that students should study every day without exception to help retain stuff. I have also in the past found Gilko Biloba a really good help for my memory.

Good luck with it all. You're a fighter, you can do it! í ½í±

Deep breaths and try to relax. I'm sure you have retained a lot more than you think. :fingerscrossed:

I've taken that in the past, didn't seem to do much though for me. I didn't see any noticeable difference in my learning. When I was a kid 6 to 9 or so, I was on something for ADD but didn't seem to help me learn so the doctors took me off the medication.

If the test was straight forward questions and answers, I would not have an issue, but the trick questions throw me off.

Bung us an idea of some of the tricky questions. We'll see if we can help you remember whatever the answers are.

Anything to help

I am getting stuck on the taxi ways, which ones are controlled, and which ones are uncontrolled. I made flash cards but still having trouble memorizing them consistently correctly.

The other sticking point is for some of the painted markings on the apron, what is actually painted isn't reality.

Example:

Bridge return circle is painted red-white-red, but if you choose that answer on the test it's wrong as the answer they want is red outer circle and red inner circle.

It's small things like that tripping me up, what you see physically painted on the ground may not be the correct answer on the test.

Last test I also got the runway hold lines and runway stop lines confused, but I think I have that one good now.

The taxiways are a sticking point still, but I made flash cards and I keep reading and trying to get it down.

I passed. Missed 2 which is 92%, need 88% to pass so it's all good.

I do the practical driving test tomorrow, which is not difficult, so won't have an issue there.
