Excellent suggestion. I'm buggering off to Cancun which will be much more fun than Toronto in the next few weeks...

No, but if you buy a new one it will as they recently announced that they have been (are to be?) made mandatory for all new vehicles.

Given that its something like a $50 addition to the existing ABS componentry its very cheap of the manufacturers to have not included it as standard in the past, but thats car makers for you.

1) Out of curiosity, please cite reference for mandatory ESP on new vehicles.

2) $50 multiplied by x thousand vehicles = savings worth having. No surprise that car manufacturers would do that at all!
