That's another hurdle passed with flying colours then Rosie, well done! At least you can wake up suffering only from a hangover, rather than having the breath of a camel, the stench of a heavy smoker and a morning after cough during which you struggle to get your breath.

I've really had a whole pile of stress this weekend and not succumbed. My 14 yr old son went awol on Friday and wouldn't answer his mobile or text messages. He eventually turned up last night at ten'ish.
Boy, has he been paying for it today..........and will for a long time yet.....just to make sure that he reconsiders his options next time he thinks of going off.....
I really felt like giving in and having a cigarette on several occasions because I was so angry and stressed about what he'd done.....but didn't & haven't....so I've passed my own hurdle too.
I'm still counting the days....18 now...When will that stop I wonder?

20 today only cos I was digging up chuckies and then planting yesterday James had me lifting a childs garden shed with David next door and my son Erika hid somewhere (smart woman)smoked 24 yesterday so keep busy it is for me.but now Im feeling itwait untill tomorrow comes boy am I really gonna hurtif thats what it takes to get off the fags so be it

I haven't had a single ciggy today and nor will I. Neither will I consume any caffeine or alcohol. Not an enjoyable visit to the doctors this morning.

Good Luck Souv, are you going cold turkey or have you got some gum or patches. I'm on 10 mg patches now and after 2 weeks without a ciggie I'm craving 1 again
