If council want to get rid of him they have the power to call an election............

But then they might lose their seats....or he gets reelected.

Ford seems to thrive in the rather hysterical atmosphere. Be bold councillors or leave him alone. Don't tell him to do something you can't enforce.

No they don't. He'd have to resign first.

Sorry Novo but the Ford brothers would fit in well on Geordie Shore or pictured shirtless eating a pie and holding a Newcastle Brown Ale at Sid James Park cheering on the Toon.

And that's not even Yiddish.

Could we remain on topic? At all?

And I'm not either. It's <shock> a username. That I use.

Those ridiculous ad hominem posts (although misdirected by both ad hominem posters) make me even more depressed than I was earlier.

People, the Ford Brothers are very bad news.

Model-T Godwins actually.

And, as a public service announcement, Rob & his Consigliere are about to be interviewed on the National by some chap called Peter Mansbridge.

Form your own opinion.

I really didn't expect him to. Did you?

It appears you may have watched the broadcast, so what did you think?

Not really.

I didn't see the start of it. At the end he seemed to be saying he wouldn't be drinking at all again. I don't know the background but they mentioned Jim Flaherty a few times - is he a former drinker?

He wasn't swearing or ranting and raving in the interview. Said he wouldn't steal taxpayers money like happens in Ottawa. Has he actually been successful in reducing taxes?

He mentioned the bible which I'm sure you'd like.......
