Don't fry my brain, I'm having enough trouble remembering the first version! At least it's shorter than "those hats with the long furry ear things" - which is how I have been referring to chapka for some decades! :D

Jeremy Vine had an item about Rob Ford on his show yesterday, which I found quite amusing. It must be a slow news week here in the UK.

This Globe article answers/refutes a few of Ford's dubious claims. I wonder if he believes all the stuff he says?

The tv item on this said he missed 80 some out of about 440 meetings, and the forensic accountant who checked the claim of 'I saved the city a billion dollars' used the words creative accounting and exaggeration to describe it.

There was an excellent article in the Star on Sunday which provided a lot of detail on the history and future of the police investigations into this whole affair, including reference to the violence and homicide floating around the case.

I made a bookmark on my work computer but I can't post the link until tomorrow.
