Elon is certainly doing his best to achive prat status. He was cool when he was the underdog, and his companies are obviously cool, but Musk himself? That big head is getting bigger all the time.

Only if it is being 'imported' from another province or country. If not, then no inspection is required.

Thank you. Move from Yellowknife, so I suppose that’s why.

Isuspect that Amazon have some sort of algorythm on twitter, I put a comment about getting one genuine email from Amazon and my next e mail was also from 'Amazon' stating my account had been locked, obviously spam as the originating e mail address was just a collection of letters and numbers. Withing 10 mins I had received a reply from Amazon on twitter hoping I was still able to log in to them, I said yes, they were happy I had sorted it out.

I usually get a robo-call from "Amazon" saying my £799 order is on it's way, and if I didn't make that order please press 1 (so that we can scam you).

I don't think that the majority of truck drivers in Canada support this kind of idiotic protest, also I don't think that any majority in Canada would support this way of protest as well.

I think this kind of protest is largely instigated by some kind of right wing Donald Trump related US organization, trying to get a foot into Canada.

The truckers are Canadian; not American. Americans, even truckers, cannot cross into Canada without being fully vaccinated. Those that are will not be the ones to take part in the trucker protest of mandatory vaccination of all citizens and residents of Canada.

America does NOT want a foothold in Canada. We don't want a damn thing to do with Quebec. Trump has little power in the US. His reign is over and dead to everyone but himself.

The truckers staging these protests may be Canadian citizens, however their behaviour would be something I'd still classify as a minority among Canadians and Canadian truckers. Also, once can easily influence something from one country in another one these days. Cambridge Analytica has shown us that.

Also, Canada has a very high vaccine uptake as well.

That may be so but part of the funding of the convoy has come from the American Right and the gofundme money raised is to be returned to donors because all is not as "innocent" as seemed.
On Sunday, Bruce Heyman, a US ambassador under President Barack Obama, said this interference had to end.

“Canada-US relations used to be mainly about solving technical issues,’ he tweeted. “Today Canada is unfortunately experiencing radical US politicians involving themselves in Canadian domestic issues. Trump and his followers are a threat not just to the US but to all democracies.

“Under no circumstances should any group in the USA fund disruptive activities in Canada. Period. Full stop.”
Trump has little power in the US. His reign is over and dead to everyone but himself.
We'd all like to believe that but current events in the US don't really suggest it.

Nah, no inspections in BC to get insurance. You can drive a complete rust bucket with shitty brakes and still get insurance.
However, if a cop pulls you over and they see something dodgy, they can demand you take the car for an inspection within 7 days to make sure it passes a safety inspection.
