No chicken skin off my parson's nose. :getcoat:

I couldn't see the resemblance myself but I concede it's more like a chicken than a cucumber.

I read an article today that had a handy bunch of links that go straight to a specific alternate genre on Netflix. Not all of them work as you need to be in the correct country but I thought I'd share it anyway.

It's been a while since I saw that. So long ago that it was way before I actually started watching stuff on Netflix so I never found a use for it.

I just picked a couple of categories I'd be interested in. The main recommendation that came up looked interesting, but not only that so did the associated ones. Some of those suggested by Netflix because "I liked something else" are normallyy quite useful. So if the same thing happens that's a double plus.

Trouble is, when do I fit it all in?

OMG...I read that as a big fat stick :hysterical:

I heard that snow was possible in Northern NB. Since when was Fredericton in the north?

When I was younger I used to get migraines a lot.

Then they stopped for the most part for 20 years.

I have had 4 this month so far. Not sure what is triggering them suddenly.

Interesting, and thanks. I will sometimes search deeper in Netflix by doing an alphabetical search and it will pull up all the movies under that letter. Having said that, still very little to watch. It does surprise me that Netflix has so little in the way of quality back-catalog movies. Perhaps that's by design, so people are encouraged to watch the new stuff.

Licensing issues and studios not licensing their content to netflix as well as not renewing existing deals and pulling their content, is part of why Netflix is lacking a bit these days.

Disney being one of the larger studios to do so. The mouse owns more than just Disney branded content, they own a good chunk of Fox content as well that Fox sold them as well as Marvel and Star Wars content and as licensing deals expire have been pulling the content.

Even so, there are possibly 100,000 movies out there and Netflix has at most 2-3000 available.

i suspect when new movies get licenced that digital rights are included in the contract negotiations as standard so Netflix or whoever is involved at the get go
older films that were released before digital became a thing, Netflix would have to deliberately go out to the studios and negotiate.

more effort for them

There was a big stir when Prizzi's Honor came out because it went directly to vhs before hitting the theatre.
