Bristol, the 1st response did indeed include a link to the website that I had already been looking at, I was asking for some more information on the course I am interested in, some courses on the site have a breakdown of modules, the one I am interested in doesn't, I was also invited to attend the open day that it coming up. I had explained in my original email that I am in Alberta. I also asked if UK qualifications were accepted or if there were other steps I had to take - that is the remaining unanswered and possibley the most important question.

It drives me nuts to Partially! It's like those 1 word text messages grr

A good year for the roses seems to be a good year for the strawberries too.

Thank you Souxie, I am hoping for some sort of actual help from the admissions dept that I have contacted. That is information I hadn't actually found though.

Last week I made a transfer of money from my chequing account to a savings account at a different bank.
The money showed up at the receiving bank on Friday. It was not one of those where the balance takes account of a deposit but the 'available' doesn't include it. It was all there.

On Monday, it was still there but also on Monday, the money had not left my chequing account. Nor was it listed in pending transactions.

Finally on Tuesday the money had left, 4 days after it arrived.

Trying to find housing in this province is frustrating, so few places we can actually afford. Can't get a job in these small city's without living there first, but nobody wants to rent without a job, major catch 22.

Paradise, CA is pretty much gone.

Sounds like residents barely had time to escape with some leaving their cars and running on foot.

Yes, my friend from my years in Yonkers has family living in Paradise. Or perhaps I should say HAD family living in Paradise. Her Sister and her family and the extended family of in-laws are all safe with the exception of one, a mother-in-law, who is still missing. Currently they are all housed in a Walmart a few towns over.

Almost 3 weeks now and still not better. Think its time to see the doctor again.

Upside to whatever virus or whatever is causing this its a appetite suppressant.

Or its something else and unrelated to the initial illness that seemed to be a flu or bad cold.

3 weeks isn't unusual at all.
There have been some really rotten bugs out there this year.
One wiped me out for a good month over August.

Battle on J. Battle on.

I always chuckle when people mention Vancouver and compare it to NY. Lol

I fainted tonight. I got up to do something (cant remember what) felt dizzy grabbed onto a dresser and next thing I know on the floor in a pond of water. (knocked over the water cooler and 3 gallons of water.) Other then a sore shoulder I don't seem hurt.

I think I got up too fast, our couch is fairly low to the ground, and I am tall, and blood rushed from my head I suppose.

The silly buggers have dumped 250,000 litres of crude oil in the Atlantic.
