I watched an old favourite movie the other evening.
Porky's.

I remember hiring it from the local video shop, watching it and watching it again immediately. I've never done that with any other movie.

It was just as funny this time round.

It's kind of weird that a movie can be so uproariously funny, immature, childish etc and still contain a serious anti-intolerance message .

Empty homes tax worked on at least one condo...

Original owners bought during a pre-sale 12 years ago. They sold as they are not residents and the home was empty and they did not want to pay the tax.

Original listing price 848,000 sold for 807,000..

Assessment at 873,000.

3 stores in no luck in finding my size for pants.

Being tall sucks sometimes.

Buy the shortest long pants you can that will fit and pretend you're a schoolboy or a member of AC/DC ;)

Always the comedian. Lol

Having a heck of a time finding boots in my size. Lots in 12 but none in 13 in the lower priced range. 250 and up plenty of sizes. Lol

2 marks, an Army Navy and now trying Wal-Mart which I will work short term as their quality is poor when it comes to shoes.

Scratch Wal Mart for shoes.

Did find pants at Army Navy though.

Shame you don't have a Giant Tiger there. I take 13s and mine were $35 a couple of years ago. Technically hiking boots but if they're good enough for our winters they would be okay for you. Unless you're talking work boots.

They have an on line store but very limited selection :(

Good luck with the hunt!! :D

With Walmart, if you think they will fit you, you could order them online, perhaps (you can always pick them up in store - or return them if no good) https://www.walmart.ca/en/boots/N-532+53007404
Have branches in Vancouver (more for clothes but they do have shoes too) https://www.oldnavy.ca/products/big-mens-clothing.jsp
https://oldnavy.gapcanada.ca/browse/...&size=32-1:237

Boots | Men | The Shoe Company/Shoe Warehouse | Shop | Shoe Warehouse have 13+ and branches in Vancouver, not the cheapest but they've some for under $100

These people have bigger sizes in shoes - might be of use but it's more summer shoes than winter boots. https://maximusxl.ca/en/types/footwear
These people sound interesting.. for the future, maybe. https://navaslab.com/pages/about-navas
:)

The Ozark or Weather Spirits ones for $35 look good enough. I'd be tempted by Jim for $60 as they look nicer to me.

I found boots at Marks in North Vancouver, they had way more selection compared to the East Vancouver store.

$199 plus $50 gift card for future purchases.

They are work boots and they are never cheap.

I need them for Monday and today was first we had the money for them so could not order online.

Despite the odds the adage still stands-“you can’t catch fish if your line’s not in the water”.
