Maybe I am seeing the sugar content Bristol, and thinking gee what a lot of sugar when it's actually normal. The oranges I juiced do taste better, and I know there is no additives which I like. Although I only drink a small amount per day.
What I really like to do is try the veggie juices, so rather than spending 20 mins munching on a bunch of veggies (which I would not do) I can get a health hit in a small glass

I figure keeping all the fiber of the whole fruit and veggie is good for the body.
I use a mix greens of kale, swiss chard, spinach and something else, add in some berries and a bannana, without the fruit its not drinkable, the veggies alone = gross.

I am in the same boat with veggies, will generally not eat them. I don't juice mine though, I put everything into a blender whole and blend it all up, adding a bit of water as needed to make it drinkable.

Do you not like veggie soup? Or coleslaw? I buy those salad bags of coleslaw mix and make a thing with ground beef, onions, some of the coleslaw mix and whatever veggies I have around. Chop them up small and you won't notice them too much

Brussel sprouts lightly par-boiled then halved and sauted with bacon (and if you like it, a small drizzle of maple syrup) makes them really quite tasty - or chiffonade them (uncooked) and stir fry with some garlic butter; baby spinach wilted in a little garlic butter is one of my favourites (kale cooked the same way - de-stalked first - is also not bad!). It's funny, I used to detest those vegetables but now they are some of my favourites!

Yes...
I think some people - experts, usually - make the wrong connections.
They knock orange juice not because it's unhealthy but because it's not as healthy as portrayed even though it's still got to be better than fizzypop or adding to vodka.
They tell you that cooking veggies/peeling potatoes causes the veg to lose some of its nutritional value. Okay, but it's still better than not eating veggies.
Now they say these juicer things turn veggies into juice but the process (as with cooking) reduces the available nutrients. But it's still better than not eating veggies.
The other one that annoys me is "watch out for the extra calories from salad dressings when you have a salad." FFS, I'm having a salad with a few extra calories...why not recognise it's a salad I'm having and not a triple cheeseburger with bacon. And fries.

"Those boys don't know what's good for them do they" I used to say to my mum about my brothers not eating sprouts when I did.

And then I, too, stopped eating them. Although I started up again.
My preference is steamed/very lightly boiled. I tried the frying thing and I wasn't keen, but that was without bacon.

steam brussels sprouts for 5 minutes, then into a bowl of ice water, dry off, cut the in half length wise, make a tempura batter, deep fried in veggie oil till golden brown
Repeat same (minus the steaming) for egg plant, sweet potato, carrots, zucchini
All of the above on a plate with Bean sprouts, wasami beans, torfu
No pork in sight....

Water, water everywhere, not a drop to drink, so sang Tommy Steele
Its about 'Water'. How much do you consume on average per day, since according to the many revelations out there, it should be something like 2/3 of your body weight in ounces of water consumption per day.
Based on that, take a person that weighs 100 lbs, that it'd be (2/3 their body weight in ounces) or 67 oz water consumption is required to sustain a healthy body & mind
Do you consume enough water?

Remember water is also in many foods, so even if you don't think u drink enough, a person maybe getting enough water while following a healthy diet
For me water is blah !!! I like to add lemon or a lime, I prob drink a litre a day minimum

Your blood must be thick or you've been wearing several layers through October
How cold has it been this week in your neck of the woods?
We've had the heat on for a week & its only been +3'C at night with a daytime temperature yesterday of +4'C

I'd thought you lot out there would have had your air conditioning on with those dizzying temperatures.

Last night was about -5 and this morning it was still that with the feels like. 5, feels like 2 right now.
This is the first day it hasn't warmed up inside to what it would be with heating on...until I put it on.

I put a cardie & socks on today, & dug out my slippers. I might have to put heating on in the bathroom later...
I'm having an odd craving for Brussel sprouts
