They were able to fix it before the banking cut off. So only 16 hours late.
Not sure how I was deleted from payroll. Lol
Sometimes I think work makes my depression worse.

Anything other than that you need to go to one of the places like 'LifeLabs' for blood tests, urine tests or ECG etc.

You must have one of those fancy GP offices, lol.. mine has a receptionist; a doctor; a nurse who can do blood pressure or put a bandage on or take down some details.. and that's about it!

I do. It's in quite a big building with a pharmacy on the ground floor and walk in clinic along with all the admin people and service. 7 doctors, 4 nurse practioners, social workers, ,mental health, assorted RNs and RPNs. There are satellite offices too in nearby towns.

The clinics for all the blood tests, ecgs etc are at the hospital a 5 minute walk away.
Some pharmacy stores will do blood tests (or the collection) and vaccinations. Some people are happy to pay for that instead of going to the hospital and paying to park.

My doctors office is pretty sparse, she works with 4 or 5 other doctors, some are regular family doctors who do appointments and some just walk in, and some do both depending on the day.
There is 2 front desk staff, don't think they are nurses though, never seen anyone else there so I don't think they have any nurses on staff, just a very basic doctors office, biggest down side is they have no parking lot, so its limited street parking only which makes it a little difficult at times, sometimes I just walk since its only about a 20 min walk.
My dad in the US had the same doctor from 1984 to 2017 when she retired. Longest doctor I have had was as a kid to 21 or so when I was booted off my dads medical insurance.
On another topic, thinking today and the biggest downside to my job, more then anything else is the time it takes just to get to work. 20 mins to the parking lot in the morning which isn't bad, but then takes another 15-20 mins to walk from parking lot to our lunch room where we clock in air side, almost as long just to go from parking lot to time clock as it is home to parking lot.
Joys of working at an airport.

I am not sure I will ever figure out the secret to moving up within companies. I think it has more to do with personality then anything else, not sure quiet reserved personalities like mine are the key to success.
One lady I used to work with back in 2010, we were both security guards at a hotel, she is a general manager now, one example.
It really is a mystery to me how people do it.
Its 7p so time for bed.....

That's like ours and probably every other place here. The nurse is my doctor's wife!! He's been in three different buildings all with other doctors in their own suites with the same set up (wife as nurse excepted). Between me and my wife I've experienced three other regular docs plus a walk-in and the only variation on that is different docs sharing an office and, thus, the receptionists.

J...I often think when reading your posts...have you thought of writing a blog about your struggles? You write so well and there must be many out there who can relate to you.

Great idea! Alternatively, how about writing your 'story' and about your struggles and making it into a mini e-book and self publishing on Amazon (there's tons of people that do - some booklets / series are under 50 pages) - you could perhaps get a small amount of money for them too!
