I remember trying a Walnut Whip and thinking, 'this is hugely overrated'. I was about ten.

News travels across Canada at the speed of thought; my link was in response to posts 3538 - 3540 on the previous page discussing Walnut Whips as if they still had walnuts on top. :thumb: hth

The move is down to the increased price of walnuts
As much as I used to like them, the walnut was zero to do with it. Given the choice I'd sooner they were not there. The fun was biting the top off and scooping out before finishing the chocolate.

The walnut itself is as pointless as that piece of lettuce and slice of tomato on a plate of steak and chips.:nod:
