Thanks Jerseygirl - hopefully not - one handed typing is hard work! But, in the grand scheme of things, it's a nuisance, nothing more. As I keep saying to my stepchildren - there is always someone worst off than you! Of course, they don't believe me...

Headline in the local paper: Most people seeking euthanasia in Nova Scotia in early 2017 didn't get it.

Well if they did we wouldn't be hearing from them that they did.

I am in two minds about this. Both my sons have played full-contact from when they first started primary school, but this was at a club. It may be the case that not all school gym teachers are rugby specialists, and of course many of the kids in a gym lesson won't actually want to play and both of these things could make it more dangerous.

However rugby is a fantastic sport for all shapes and sizes, and restricting it to something like tag-rugby puts it back into the realms of the speedsters, and those already good at sport and may deter kids who would have found they could enjoy and succeed at rugby despite not being obviously 'sporty'.

One of the nicest things about it is when teams are lining up for anthems and the camera pans along the faces moving up and down according the the heights of the players.

Plus some of them are not the handsomest of people

Rooney never seemed to sing along although I'm not convinced he could remember the words..same with Gary Neville. Gianluigi Buffon seems to put his heart into it but his countries anthem has a bit more emotion to it.

Absolutely. It's a ball game where ball skills are to some degree negated by the shape of the ball. If you're big and heavy.. then you're in. If you're lithe and quick.. then you're in. If you can jump.. then you're in and if you happen to be able to kick then step this way. But.. if you have a problem with dealing with authority then best play soccer.

The U.S. Department of Commerce has clobbered aerospace giant Bombardier with a hefty 219 per cent duty on the sale of its CS100 commercial jets to a U.S. airline following a trade complaint from an American rival.

Wonder if this will affect the order from Delta? Not exactly small change here.

Pretty sad when 88 hours of work isn't even enough to cover rent.

The fishing fiesta is back on. Leaving at the crack of dawn today unless traffic delays one of our fearless desperados again. Tally ho!
