Suppose it's been a couple years now, so maybe try again.

Thanks for the advice. It seems pretty definite that cashback is non-taxable !
I still can't get over the idea that things like dividends and some interest is taxable even when you do not receive it and it will be taxed again when you cash in the investment
eg in a mutual fund

Weather isnt cooperating with me...grrrrr.
Trying to figure out if I should risk going to California. Rentals dont have chains or winter tires.
The highway has been clear all month and of course the week I am to go its gonna snow several times...

I just found something I used to buy in tins in my local Patco supermarket in Totterdown, Bristol.
It used to look repulsive when the tin was open but, by the cringe, it was delicious.

I can't say it's exactly the same as the one I used to get but I ordered a pair of tins @ $16 free delivery just in case.

I have a mental block when I see so many ingredients especially when they're things I'd have to seek out and then maybe never use again. There are about 11 ingredients too many for me and about 7 I've never heard of. But thanks anyway.

We have a tiny jar of Saffron my stepdaughter bought about 5 years ago. Ridiculously expensive. I used a little in a Paella, made a good one combining two recipes I found but the next time was rubbish and I've not used it since.

We had a rental car in NC that had Ontario plates and snow tyres. Oh how we laughed , it was May.

I just changed plans and we are driving from BC leaving today quickly to get through the pass tonight and hopefully beat the snow in the forecast for tomorrow.
I really don't want to have to deal with trying to put snow chains on for the first time ever....
