Over the top, or justified?
Methinks the lunatics have taken over the asylum.

Its only 9 months and some change for each count so seems reasonable to me.

People that torture and kill animals for kicks are sometimes the people that turn into murderers, maybe locking this guy up means saving someone's life.

I totally agree - I lived next door to a really spiteful, nasty boy when I was a kid. Every pet they had either ran away or just plain disappeared! But he was always doing horrible things to those pets before they did. Even his Mum was scared stiff of him. He turned into a girlfriend beater, then a wife beater and the last time I heard of him, he was in prison for nearly killing someone. Glad I am 1000s of miles from him!

Re: Random stuff - the anything else thread
So, I can't believe I gave myself and my OH a full month between closing on a house and moving day - tomorrow, no wait - TODAY!! Yet, even with all the best intentions of sorting through every box and being ruthless and being packed way in advance of the moving day, here we are at 3.30 AM! Still packing!
The sorting and getting rid of stuff has gone by the wayside, things are just being thrown into boxes with hardly a glance. And I think we will have to get the movers back next week to move more stuff as we can't get to some things in the garage until after other things have been moved. I haven't even had a chance to clean the kitchen in the new place (why do people not clean when they move out?), so everything in the kitchen is staying put until I get a chance to clean next week - arghhh. Thank god for Pandora!! Also, I am glad we had a break Sunday to go to The Who concert - which was brilliant!!
Anyway, back to the packing - a stiff drink will be waiting for me at the end of today - if I didn't need to drive later I would have one now

What an interesting process they have. My Canadian born spouse has Swiss citizenship and she has never lived a day there.
