Re: Random stuff - the anything else thread
16km.
20 mins in the morning.
Home averages 35 mins but can take as long as 45 mins some days.
All city stop and go. No highway.
Its a rough estimate based on 15 mins longer avg it takes in the pm vs am.
Its likely more once the 45 min commutes are factored in.

Had a trip out to the Columbia gorge and dropped in for some grub and a drink at Thunder Bay brewery- At least elder pup has improved his drinking although hasn't graduated to a pint yet, just ' a flight ' - gotta say the first three look like urine samples

Re: Random stuff - the anything else thread
So we live on the first floor and our window faces the side walk and doesn't have a screen, but only opens a small amount, not enough for a human adult to get through it.
Last night heard a thump but didn't think anything of it, then this morning when I went to close the window there was hamburger buns inside on the window sill, someone had for whatever reason dropped 5 hamburger buns in our window, I found the bag on the street this morning.
Suppose it was drunks out and about playing pranks.
Joys of ground floor living...Personally I would prefer to be on an upper floor...lol

Will I hear echoes of your footsteps? Snoop is the travel planner so who knows, we might cast an eye passing through..

ps eat Mexican food it's so much better than in Canada. Burrito Boy or Burrito Amigo are cheap but very cheerful. Make sure you get a "wet" burrito.

Great state for coffee as well and no sales tax and the most bizarre step back to the 70's...all petrol stations are full serve only.

Saw this on bbc news site, haven't seen it on any Canadian media yet, although they credit cbc. Sad outcome for a brave guy.

There are 2 1/2 UK home owners that have never had a mortgage rate rise. 8 mn people have never experienced a rate rise in their lifetime
UK goes 10 years without a rate rise | Every Investor
