No, but I was curious to find out which end it came from; it had a cat food smell to it. /QUOTE]
Hope he/she/it isn't sick. Count yourself lucky that it's an isolated incident, but if it recurs you could try some of those treats.
I wrote a beauty of a post but didn't think it worth the backlash.

I got up to pee during the night and in the glow of the light from my bedroom I saw a little pile of fluff on the carpet in the middle of the landing.
I reached down to pick it up only to discover it wasn't fluff as my finger went into something wet and stodgy.
The cat had 'left something' in the night.
Fortunately it was from the front end.

Quick, quick!
The cat's been sick!
Where, where?
Under the chair.
Hasten, hasten,
Fetch a basin!
Alas! Alack!
All in vain,
The cat has licked it up again....

I just did a search for The Hairball Song, and one had been posted a month ago. Don't click on it, it's terrible. Ok, maybe not terrible, but more spirited than in tune.

Why I don't like Paypal.
I wanted to make a purchase yesterday on ebay - something else I'm not keen on.
According to the blurb on the listing I could pay by credit card.
Except that when I got to the important bit I couldn't and I needed a paypal account.
So I registered for one. But my payment wasn't accepted - apparently because I was only a guest on ebay. So against my better judgement I registered an account on ebay and went through it again.
Only for my paypal sign in to not be recognised. But I only just did it. I don't forget that quickly.
Nothing for it but to choose forgot password option. As prompted, I entered my email address. Which wasn't recognised.
Today I get an email confirming my PayPal registration and extolling the advantages.
But I can't sign in again. Again I tell them my email address but they still don't recognise it even though they just used it to email me.
"Problems signing in?"
Too bloody right.
"click to contact us by email."
Righto, I click. New page.

Quick, quick!
The cat's been sick!
Go get a mop,
To mop up it!
Too late!
All in vein!
The cat has licked it up again!

My dad sent me an amazon US gift card for my birthday, so I ordered a few things we needed Tuesday morning at 8am. I paid for normal shipping which said 7-10 days.
Got home today, and a box sitting outside. It was the amazon US ordered I did yesterday.
Tracking says they went Newark, NJ to Louisville, KY, to Seattle, WA to Vancouver, BC.
Not bad but no idea why Amazon sent it overnight express.

Maybe they just had room on that flight? Sometimes you get really quick delivery. I got fishing reels from England in about 5 or 6 days with no charges and it's lucky to get anything that quick.

My wife sent 2 commissioned paintings to customers in England via Canada Post back in February. Neither have arrived. They are covered by insurance, but it's such a waste of time, energy and money when a simple delivery can't be achieved.

My wife ordered a small present for christmas from China in November. Shortly afterwards tracking showed it to be in Vancouver, we are in the Fraser Valley. It arrived last week after 4 months waiting somewhere.

I've ordered Amazon stuff from China/HK. Takes anywhere from a 1-3 weeks to UK. Very efficient customer service too.
