I don't know. I'm mystified by it too. But I have heard several people talking about it so I thought that there might be something in it. We've already established that she's a social climber, and a narcissist, so like Trump she may well have her eye on the top job.

I think it may well be a very valid supposition that this is her aim.

I personally think that Kamala Harris is being groomed to run for President in 2020 if Joe Biden decides not to run again, or 2028 if he runs and either wins or loses to a Republican (rumours of Trump or his daughter Ivanka being interested in 2024, at least).

Life expectancy in the US is 78 years and some change, a bit higher for females, but the overall is 78, so 39 is the midway point, so middle age seems appropriate.

Everyone will have a different perspective, someone who can't have kids at 39 may feel old, someone with a disease that generally strikes when older but get it when they are 40 may feel old, a healthy person full of energy may feel young at 40, every human is different.

My body is worn out for 20 years of physical jobs, and now psoriatic arthritis and there are days when I feel old, I am 42 and I am not feeling young these days but I wasn't blessed with good genes and have a fair amount of health issues showing up now.

Female seems to add 10 ish years to your life expectancy.
