I like this idea. I'll pledge $2 to this if somebody arranges it.

I've got a stackful of Crappy Tire money, maybe we can send em that and they can buy themselves a new dinner set and an oil filter or something.

I have $1.75 of CT money in the ash tray in my car. Despite my close attachment to anything resembling money I am prepared to donate this to a wedding present fund.

Too generous (would we be able to claim anything back on this pretend money seeing as its a charitable donation of sorts - what with Kate being a poor commoner and all?)

I thought it better to get them something romantic that they can enjoy together rather than a few dollars of gift certificates to some crap shop. That's more of an insult than something nice.

A nice fondue set. Or some lovely placemats, each with a different picturesque scene from each province.

If that doesn't appeal, just give them the cash - what newly-wed young couple couldn't use a hundred quid better than some awful coasters? Saves them the trip back to Argos to exchange the gift.

Maybe if you managed $2 then they would be visiting BC.
