Even if you could get the same fryers as you had in the UK with 12 to 14 fish and 32 orders you are going to be in pretty much the same predicament with wait times.
A rethink of you business model might be in order.
Perhaps for a while you should do eat in only and no take out or take out only. One or the other but not both.
It seems obvious you are currently losing potential customers which will in short order kill your business.
All the best in whatever it is you choose to do.

Thanks for your email and giving us the opportunity to explain.
We would love to be able to work on the equipment we work on in England, but the equipment we can buy here is not a patch on our English Fryers. If we could work on the same equipment, we wouldn’t have the wait problem.
We are trying our best, I can promise you that and the wait time stresses us out, we hope that things will calm down and with the extra staff we have hired, that will also help ease some of the load
Thanks again for the opportunity to explain, hope this helps you understand
Best regards

We went tonight at 5:00 p.m. (half an hour after it opened.
70% of the tables had people sat at them, one family had their food and there was a fair number of people sat down by the counter. We were told that there was a 45 min wait for "take out". We left.
We saw some friends outside and chatted to them. There was a constant stream of people going in and coming out 45 seconds later.
Doesn't bode well
Anyone taking bets on whether they'll still be open at Christmas? I might be tempted to put $100 on that.

it's just round the corner from us, so we popped in on Friday at 7.15. They said they close at 8 and the wait was beyond that so said sorry, but no go. They looked completely stressed out and there were several people waiting about. They said to phone in as Friday and Sat were crazy.
Phoned in Saturday at 5.15pm, and told it would be ready at 5.50pm. Headed round then and waited in the queue. Turns out it was ready and the food was great, although while I was waiting there was several people who left the queue, one woman who had waited an hour and just ended up getting a refund and several people at tables who were looking a bit bored..
They said it was mad as people were heading in from Airdrie, Okotoks etc and they didn't expect this.
Good food though and got a few bottles of Irn Bru !
