I sympathise a little...first day of work I was told that I needed to "Americanize" my accent for the customers.
Needless to say I wasn't about to do that (couldn't even if I had wanted to!) It makes my toes curl when you hear people actually TRYING to sound American/Canadian and ending up sounding like a total tool.
I'm not going to stand in front of the mirror practising how to sound Canadian, I'd rather repeat myself a few times!

I almost accidentally cut in front of him whilst waiting for a changing room and he said 'sorry mate but you're going to have queue'.
He almost received a smack in the mouth for his trouble.

Canada post.....
We sent a letter, yes a real letter on paper in an envelope with a stamp, to the UK Dec last year and it still aint arrived. We put the correct stamps on and gave it to the post lady at the post office.
Be warned Canada Post is Not a very reliable service.

I think postmen in UK should be reserved employment for Ex servicemen.. If they leave with an exemplary character then you walk into another Govt job.
They have proved their reliability and honesty and have served their country with pride. let's start a petition!

I think delivering mail by mortar tubes, sniper rifles, etc etc might alarm the public somewhat and may damage the letterbox. Noble suggestion but might not fly.

Sorry mate, are you trying to insinuate something about the number of servicemen who have lost limbs these days? Having just returned from Afghanistan, I find that a pretty ****ing smarmy post
