okay pest control is out so spray hunting again we tried some but was no good well we should be glad we dont have black widowsants got sorted now its spider kill.KILL KILL KILL

Kate if you go to the Vet's surgery you can get an aerosol spray to spray on the carpet which is for killing cat fleas but gets spiders too. I used it a lot when I lived in the UK but maddeningly I can't remember what it is called.

The good thing is that it lasts for weeks once you have sprayed it. You can only get it from the vet's though.

I think the spray you're referring to is called Nuvan Top, kills all known beasties dead!!!

Is Nuvan Top your sworn enemy

Nevan will do for me then anything that kills beasties hate anything that crawls (well apart from OH)he is good at it an all when he is in the bad books

As far as I know Nuvan Top isn't made by Avon but could be wrong

We used to buy it many years ago from our local vets and just remember it worked wonders when we had our moggies

Conkers - that is what you need. My mum hates spiders and would do anything not to kill them - but just to get them out of her house. She was talking to my brother and he said get some conkers and put them into every corner in the house upstairs and down.

Mum made us all go out and look for conkers - she even tried to get the kids to buy them from their mates at school - much to their horror

Anyhow - they work - the spiders went away and she no longer complains of spiders.

So - maybe it was the conkers or maybe the spiders felt sorry for her and decided to give her a break and go and pester somebody else .....

No it isn't it's a lady having a cooling lick of a bottle... you must have an over active imagination coming up with that conclusion, you need to readjust your helmet to stop those blows to the head causing more damage.....
