Ok....back to the main topic, since the main point has clearly been missed.

To answer you, I don't watch top gear

I don't blame you. It's shit.

But the point being, kids who watch that don't decide to thrash the tits of their or their parents car just because Elephant Man Clarkson said it was fun, unless they're predisposed to the laws of Darwin.

If your kid is going to show her tits to the internet or via text, Rhianna and that ilk won't make any difference at all.

I think you worry too much

The above rings true for nutters. If you're going to turn psycho and kill somebody for pleasure, movies and games won't make a difference. They may be a trigger, but if they're not then something else will be

Unless you're Mr. Qui (although I don't think he murdered Mr. Zhu for "pleasure").

Not really. Inevitability is the key. If it's going to happen, it's going to happen, no matter what, where, or when the trigger is.

You just don't really want to be close by when it does

Since media, movies, and games have become more mainstream and widely used, have terrible crimes increased drastically in relation to accessibility? I don't know but i doubt it.

And of the psychopaths who commit the crimes, did it all begin with a game of pacman or call of duty, or did they begin by pulling legs of spiders, squishing frogs, and/or mutilating cats, and/or being forced to go on a fishing weekend or watch the fooball on a lovely summers afternoon? I'd go with the latter examples.

Granted there may be a miniscual potential as in that case (although i don't no how unhinged he was in the first place or his background).

It's the same as road rage in that if you're an easily wound up angry ****er who hits people when they cut you up, the chances are you're like that anyway and if the driving didn't trigger it, something else will (booze, hitting your nail with a hammer, stubbing your toe on the coffee table, or being poo'd on by a seagul, somebody selling your virtual sword, or your wife burning your toast the bitch, etc)

.
I dont know if there is any scientific / psychological basis to believe that. It may be truly inevitable for some psychopaths, but is it true for all?

Anyway, we'll have to agree to disagree, I just cant see any way that having an anonymous online community of "like minds" egging the nutters on to go a bit further is going to help the situation. At least some of the people who would have previously surpressed their innermost urges seem to me to be more likely to act out their sick fantasies if there is some level of acceptance out there among an online "support group" if you ask me. Then there is modern societies craving for its 15 seconds of fame no matter what it takes too.

Well he is a Canadian citizen and he does have a right of entry into Canada and as long as I can establish that he is a citizen then according to some on here then I should not be hassling him or asking him any questions.

Well...we know he was interviewed in the UK by a local rag last week, before he legged it to France according to the CBC

He said this "I just can't stopped killing". CBC also interviewed his ex who said he has a violent temper and probably would do it again if not stopped sooner
