Beautiful big pan seared scallops that I brought back from my weekend trip to The Magdalen Islands. They were so good that they helped compensate for the lousy weather. Washed down with a little Pinot Grigeo. Very nice. :)

After making somewhat immature choices for yesterday’s lunch which led to me not going back to work for the afternoon and instead went fishing (although we caught eight salmon) I’m now having a quick ham and cheese sandwich and packet of Dortios crisps at my desk while keeping my head down. :(

Sitting at my desk in my office in the UK.... sulking because we still haven't heard anything about our PR!!
Just had a nectarine and a home made pasta salad. It was nice.

Yesterday I just had a little picnic underneath the walnut tree; some candied salmon, cuke, tomato, and some nice cheese from Castle cheese in Lumby (Okanagan's Choice aged cheddar). Except for the crackers and the wheat the bun's made of it's all local (if you count Lumby, it's 2 1/2 hrs away).

Here's mine for today ! 20 minutes in steam then right into the ice. To be washed down with a couple of glasses of Pinot Grigio. Mmm :)

 There's a place called Furry Creek on the way to go skiing. Canadians do have a lot of funny names for places.
