Yes, back in NS.
I bought a few lobsters the other day for $6.50 a pound from a fisherman who regularly peddles seafood from the back of a pickup here in town. He always has good quality fresh stuff that's generally landed the night before. The lobsters are live so you have to cook them but that's not a problem.
My wife grew up in a fishing village and tells the tale of how, at school, rich kids had bologna sarnies for lunch and the poor kids ate lobster ! How things have changed. :)

Yes, I've spoken to lots of the Acadians here who have told me it was like this down in the Bay of Fundy too. I met a group from NS, NB and Newfoundlanders the other night who almost came to blows telling me how 'their' bit of Canada had the very best tasting lobster....I took up the challenge, and am determined to try the all!

I had Bahn Mi, the Vietnamese submarine sandwich, combination with hot peppers. I bought 2, had one for lunch and ate the other in Calgary airport. Mmmmm I like those subs!

Extra chunky New England Seafood Chowder (yes from a tin), and I've grilled a few slices of bacon crispy to crumble on the top, and 7 (not 5 or 8!) grain bread with really nice butter. Comfort food for the soul!
