This one made me smile. That thing is an exact replica of what I pulled out of my neighbour's wheel arch about five years ago.
She's currently asleep on the sofa and isn't black anymore.

One of the annual awareness raising/fundraising events here is a "Walk a mile in her shoes" and there's a letter in the paper today thanking those who took part, particularly in view of the rain on the day.
The paper gave it the headline "Real men might not like quiche, but they don't mind pumps."
Some awareness training for the headline writer perhaps?

Not so much local news - this story is all over the Canadian media today (not to mention all the US papers I've looked at).

The Bell Centre will be a strange place tonight. The Habs are playing at home.

Agree Souvy. Humane to animals maybe but not to humans. It christmas for goodness sake. Have a heart "humane society".
