Off to MEC to get a bike trailer, then to UPS to pick up what I hope is my passport, then off to have an unhealthy lunch, siwmming with daughter in the pm, viewing a house in Sundance and then off to the Folk Festival................meh, it'll probably all be shite

I know... it's so easy to be a cynic. But just occasionally something makes my heart soar... the look of love in the eyes of my partner or children, a glorious view, the trill of the dawn chorus, a perfect sunset, a stirring piece of music, a staggering piece of art (and I could go on and on...)
Choosing to live somewhere other than the place where we were born and raised only changes some of the external cirumstances... it's up to each of us to make the best of our lives. :thumbsup: |
