How do Canadians vent?

That's the closest I've come to conflict with a Canadian.
Actually, on reflection, I've had a finger aggressively wagged in my face too. It took a great deal of self control not to giggle.

not sure about other provinces but in AB its not the law to have to wear the orange. Probably so more people will hope we kill each other
Back on topic anyway - in my 2.5 years here I have never seen an angry Canadian - actually tell a lie, one, when my friend and I pulled up at the gas pump and he thought it was his turn so he jumped out of his car ran towards ours and started banging on the window.
We laughed and the gas attendant came and told him to get back into his car - so he did.

With living and working downtown, I would expect to see a fair amount of fighting and people losing it. I don't though. I see people giving each other the finger (usually while driving) and calling each other "idiots". I am continually surprised at the limited vocabulary which Canadians use to insult each other.

I think a lot of them go home, close the door and either drink or smoke themselves into a stupor, while not forgetting to preach abstinence to others.

they vent by gossiping A LOT .. . I have seen that in the family I married into, at work amongst my colleagues, and in the community we live in.
I am always stunned what I hear about a particular person and then see how tremendously friendly they are with that person once they are present...

re the limited vocabulary, I am surprised to hear Canadians calling each other w***ers, quite a bit.
MOH called his son it not so long back and I nearly fainted, apparently it means something different here, a term of affection for doing something silly I think.
I explained about the reasons not to use that when we go to the UK.

My bosses vent both audibly and violently, its not uncommon for a phone to fly across the office followed by an Oh *****

Try working in a hospital. Canadians lose their rag just the same, sometimes for customers we have to call the police but usually the security guard tying them down with restraints is enough to silence them.

They probably get upset when you don't let them use spoons for their soup.

,I have had plenty of voicemails left at bizarre times of the night calling me all names under the sun, where they can just shout at the phone lol
