Ah, bagpipes... love them or hate them there's a lot of people in Canada who play them.

Did they order him to shut up?

Similarly, there are a lot of people in Canada who think canned onion soup is the basis for their best recipes, operate machinery while stoned or drive while intoxicated.

Agreed. Robin Wright received a Golden Globes nomination for her role though. I like Spacey but I can't help but think that the character is not far from what I've seen him as, in the past. The character's (spoiler alert caution) "act" towardsthe Philadelphia Congressman (thing) I thought was a bit odd. But anyway it was good for the flight time, as per Oakvillian, and OK overall.

I think assimilation is almost complete

To be honest if it was up to me I doubt if I would go and watch Toby Keith playing in my back garden even if the beer was free

I quite like Boards of Canada. Although it turns out that they aren't actually Canadian.

I spent last evening in the company of the very Canadian Bare Naked Ladies and had a blast. So that's one band anyway.

I'd love to be in the company of Bare Naked Ladies!

Oh, you were talking about the band...

Every time this guy played our bar I'd have to take the front doors apart so they could bring in a grand piano, then a tuner would come. He's a real perfectionist.
