I agree it being on a par with Loki, which I really enjoyed.

Finished off Shetland series 6 last night. Gripping as usual and also leaving me wanting more! I believe series 7 filming wrapped recently, so maybe in a few months we'll see it.

I need to start on The Expanse, probably get some done this week.

I have the season finale of Invasion to watch, plus need to catch up on Star Trek: Discovery.

Yes, S6 of Shetland wanted me to have S7 ready now.

Watching a charming family show called Crime on Britbox written by the guy who wrote Trainspotting.

Oh, I'll have to check out "Crime", I do like a bit of Irvine Welsh now and then.

Danish series DNA. Half way through.
Charlotte Rampling plays a French detective so plenty of English dialogue between her the Danes and Poles.

It's on iPlayer but episode one seems to have expired.

Self-isolating on Hogmanay - even from my wife - so sitting in my office watching documentaries. Just watched 2 absolutely outstanding ones on BBC (Four) iPlayer... first was "Brotherhood: The Inner Life of Monks" which was just the most positively human thing I have seen in forever, so humbling, so respectful, so peaceful... a truly contemplative hour of TV.

Second was "Pele, Argentina and the Dictators" which was a very powerful piece on how the respective military dictatorships of Brazil (1970) and Argentina (1978) manipulated and aligned themselves with the successful World Cup champions to attempt to mask their sins.

Happy New Year when it comes, folks!

I watched an entire series of Selling Sunset. One person often wore nice clothes. Another person sometimes wore nice clothes. Nothing at all happened. Happy New Year!

It'll be something scandi/nordic for me, with some whisky/sprite and Stilton.

Then to bed to wake up in the new year

After watching that you have any brain cells left. Two minutes of that and I'm out of the room.

Watching 35 days (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3919200/)

https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-e...s-9259878.html

which is Welsh noir at its best. Set in a cul de sac in a 'new build' estate in south Wales.

Yep, saw that. Very good.
I started Koukussa (Hooked) from Finland last night. Usual mix of stuff.
Mrs Sorjonen is in it

We just finished off series three of The Inbetweeners. Crude but amusing. Might watch the movies soon, will avoid the "reunited" thing as it's apparently "a bit crap"

Watched the first episode of The Book of Boba Fett. As good as the Mandalorian and gives some backstory on Boba, and no doubt more to come.

I'm also up-to-date on The Expanse, only two episodes left

Anxious People. It's on Netflix, Swedish with dubbed English..Quirky, pleasant, amusing. Only 6 episodes .

I started watching "This is Us" and I'm hooked, no idea why I've never watched it before but I'm now several episodes in and splitting my viewing between that, Lucifer, and The Great

Watched Bobba Fett yesterday as well. A bit meh but we’ll see the series through most likely. On the Expanse make sure you watch the bonus content x-ray stuff as well. A series of shorts on the theme of “One Ship”. Apparently you can’t easily watch through anTV app but ona tablet or phone they are easy to access.

I was jut reading about the x-ray stuff, so I'll give it a view.

We finished series 14 of A Touch of Frost last night, probably wrap it all up with the final series later.

We also started watching Vera as BritBox now seems to have from series 1 onwards, which it did not previously have. I've read a couple of the books and enjoyed them, and so far the adaptation is great.
