Eat well.

Lift weights, build muscle.

Get all sweat almost daily.

Have fun doing while doing the above! :)

Sounds like an average day to me; two small kids; new house loads of boxes and the biggest fridge I've ever seen; loads of interesting looking fruit and veg at Zerhs! New horizons

OMG it was weigh in day at weight watchers for me. Put on 4 pounds......oooh thats two bags of sugar. Must of been all those liquors I had. Plus the odd choc and mince pie.
Well thats it, start again, they have given us a kickstart booklet that I hope I can stick too. Then back to the gym aswell so hopefully when we land I wont make a big dint on the island.
Its been snowing in Blackpool today, just a dusting but we have had some which is quite unusual for us.
Off to eat my porridge that I did not have for breakfast, silly really but always miss my breakfast on Thursday morning just incase it makes me heavier.
Good luck to all you others having weigh in's this week.

i wouldnt worry too much, i dont go back to slimming club until the 10th jan and i dread to think what ive put on over christmas.
i think most people will have a gain when they step on the scales but the important thing is to face up to it and start again.
im now thinking of the summer to keep me focused and imagining how good it will feel to wear a pair of shorts.;)

Happy new year to all :D

my class was open for business last Thursday so I went and was pleased that the increase was just 1.5lbs, i got weighed again last night fully expecting another 1.5lbs on since NY week was worse than christmas week for food/alcohol, and was very pleased to see that i had maintained this week!
i've also managed to go for a couple of short runs this week too and feeling quite focussed and up for getting to my target weight by this summer!

good luck for 2008 everyone

Well done thubdercat:thumbsup:, thats really good, is anyone else going to admit to any gains?
Went to argos today and bought myself a stepper, just for the in between times at the gym, dont know what it will be like. Will report and let you all know. Probably just another fad and it will go back in the box then on ebay, wait and see. Best go and open the box as its gone rather dull here so dont fancy venturing out to the gym now.

I just wanted to say Happy New Year to everyone and it's good to see so many of you still sticking to your plans to keep the weight loss going. I think we can all expect to gain a little over the holiday season and it's good for us all to have a break as it re-energizes us to get back to it.

I started back to Curves this week after a short break and I already feel better for it, now I intend to start eating better too - I still haven't got this 3 meal a day and not skipping breakfast malarky sorted:o

mmm, I guess we can let you off Piff - just this once ;) .

Don't worry about it - there is more to life as you have recently been horribly reminded. On the other hand, don't go completely mad 'cos you have done so well so far, and you'll be one fed up bunny if you have to start from scratch again :D Best wishes :)

Thanks - I already know that after a week off over Crimbo my body has missed it's work out. I don't like the stiff feeling.

Daughter has already asked if while we are in England can we please have a proper fish and chip dinner - I guess i'll have a saveloy:eek: or maybe 2:eek::eek:

Fish and chips wont hurt you, hope everything goes ok. I just had a dreaded phone call aswell tonight, my son in an RTA, but thankfully after just spending 4 hours in A & E he has been let out with stitches and badley bruised. His car though is a right off....He was very lucky to of survived with such minor injuries. Think I will have a glass of wine....
My thoughts were what if we were already in Canada, but these things are meant to try us and we get through them. Hope all goes ok for you.
