We relics of the 70s refer to the Bier Markt as Brandy's. I believe the backgammon tables are in storage, pending a swing in fashion.

Scotland Yard is described as 'music, moving, and mixing ' in this website.

The Bier Markt is where Rob Ford went on one of his many benders.

Certainly backgammon doesn't seem like the kind of the thing that Rob Ford would spend time doing.

OMG, that brings back memories. "We relics of the 70s" ! I haven't played backgammon in years. Did you ever frequent The Pickwick, the men only joint at the King Eddy on King E. before they revamped it ? There were lots of games there too. Hard to realize that was 45 years ago !
