:)I guess it depends on what you are used to. My kids (9 and 5 at the time) had been raised in a small town in rural Cheshire, and had never even been on an escalator until a couple of months before we moved here, for them there was more downtown than they could handle.

I doubt that, but even if true, across the road staggering rather than half way up Yonge Street staggering would be worth that much and more.

Definitely gutted not to be making this one - Husband would have liked to have joined as well. Definitely hoping to make the next one though... late June perhaps? Before the summer kicks off and schedules go bonkers. :)

Well I did the comparisons. I looked at booking the Novotel and the cheapest was $218 plus taxHotwire was $120 plus tax for the Eaton. Walk-in rates are usually more.

The Eaton is handy for the AGO so I am content with the booking.

Not quite...we are 7 floors above. It's her husband's fault...he emailed me when a unit became available. We were looking at alternative buildings. :D

Hey Jerseygirl, I think we pretty much walk past your place to get to the yard. At least we'll be able to stagger home together.

I'll be there , Ben may or may not be. I may or may not be consuming alcohol. Just in case anyone cares

I am super sad to be missing this - so many people posting that I'd love to meet!! Booooo.
