Quite Right too. One of the first songs my daughter started singing in the back of the car was Silver Springs by Fleetwood Mac. Now she is using Rockband, I have been introducing her to Rush, Journey, The Who, Deep Purple etc with varying degrees of success. I will play the Goons tonight for her.

My dad lives in Spain and I haven't seen him for 4 years, I do miss his Liverpudlian outlook on life.

I saw them the year before I came over here.... one of those "I better see them before they die" type thing

ACDC and Bon Jovi here in the summer ( seen them both and don't fancy standing in a field all day so will give them a miss ).

Glad I got to see what I did when in the UK most notably ACDC, Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Rush ( x6 ), YES ( x7 ) etc etc. I do miss going to concerts.... lots of twiddly diddly music out this way.

My 8 year old son says his favourite is 'Living on a Prayer' by Bon Jovi (courtesy of his friends Guitar Hero game), 'I feel good' and 'I'm black and I'm proud' (James Brown).

I too tried hard to project my taste in music on to my children, but how they laughed, they snickered at me the way my generation derided Rush fans.

I'm in no way a Bon Jovi fan...but do like James Brown.

I'm more of a Leonard Cohen/Eno/Roxy Music/Pulp/Blur/Miles Davis/Jam/Paul Weller/Sandy Denny/Fairport Convention/Hendrix/Pogues/Doors/Billie Holiday/Dylan/Smiths/Van Morrison/Cowboy Junkies fan..if that can be pidgeon holed.
