Re: Christmas Shingdig in Toronto :
People usually only just bring other halves, usually not friends or whatever, though not exclusively!
If it was closed we would post about it publicly! :P

It is for anyone.
Unless we don't like you
I am as yet undecided. Want to come but have 3 hour plane booking the next day.

I can't make this one. I have a Scout camp that weekend
I'll just have returned from a trip to Europe that afternoon, too, so that'll add to the fun of sleeping under canvas for the last two nights of January! Actually, I quite like winter camping, if there's a decent amount of snow on the ground to use for extra insulation. So long as it's the right side of -20. It gets a bit harder to stay warm if it's much colder than that outside, unless you pay seriously silly money for a sleeping bag.

Re: Christmas Shingdig in Toronto :
I hope to be there. Had a good start to the year business wise so fairly busy but hope I can get a few hours off to come along. I am still pissed off that the one time I managed to organise a lift to the station and back so I could drink, we had a major snowstorm and I couldn't get there at all. To echo previous sentiments, it's open to anyone, new faces are always welcome.

This is pretty much the craziest thing I've ever heard. Camping on the coldest weekend of the year!?
We shall raise a pint in your memory whilst sitting in the warmth of the Yard.
