I'm putting Mubarak as my next victim. I actually meant to put him down first time but for some reason wrote Musharraf instead. It doesn't matter. Both are contenders for croaking or being croaked (and Musharraf is younger:fingerscrossed:).

So Oakvillian, Oopsbuddy, Souvy and I have Sharon as a regular pick, and Novocastrian and Yorkiechef have him as their joker.

In accordance with the rules, it doesn't count until the BBC announces it. Ariel Sharon dead.

King Mswati III of Swaziland is my replacement pick. Bucketloads of points if he croaks, which he's not particularly likely to do unless he eats himself to a heart attack...

well, other things being equal I'd say he could pop round next Thursday, but I'm not sure my diplomatic etiquette skills are up to giving the correct order of precedence to whichever of his several wives he decides to bring. Perhaps I should just send him a voucher for a pizza delivery instead... ;)

I'm sure that you're massively impressed to learn that I've actually been to Swaziland. I didn't meet any Kings though.

Sweet.

Talking of sweet though, I was there doing flights in an instrumented C47 dive bombing sugarcane fires. We did land several times, but the King didn't bother to come out those days.

Cuckoo clocks mostly come from the Black Forest region of Germany, not from Switzerland.

I, conversely, have never been to Swaziland, but I used to know Mswati (or Prince Mak, as he was known at the time) when we were both in our teens. :p

Tagging in! This sounds hilarious! Love it. (Although perhaps slightly morbid.)

Let me know if I can help with spreadsheet formatting slash ridiculousness... I do the outland sponsorship one (in sig) and am a nerd for this stuff. :)

Got it in one there, I suspect.

I can't knock Oakvillian's school too much though. My OH went to the associated Lady's Academy.
