Is it though? She was pretty old and probably "had had a good innings." And there are a lot of people who are killed or die in their late teens or early twenties and because they aren't famous nobody but their families care about that. Plus, there was a pressing story in the newspaper today that investigated the question "Why CAN'T you tickle yourself?" Weird distracting story

Well, age is relative isn't it. I would say "good innings" begins at 85!

I agree, as you get older your perception of 'a good innings' changes, in your 20's then 50 seems quite old, in your 40's that increases to 60's or 70's. when you reach 70, then 90 is a good innings.

Not sure, I'd say anything over 60+ is gong some. It can't be much fun after that. :(
