Brighton has a pretty healthy gay friendly attitude but finding humour in the use of the word flake to describe gay people is, at best, ignorant..
You have obviously not walked through Brighton's North Laine area over the last few days. I'm quite broadminded but I have my limits.
Handbags at ten paces about sums it up.
I realise that any criticism of Souvy is tantamount to punching The Queen but the perpetration of 1950's homophobic stereotyping for the sake of something droll to write is a little hard to stomach for me...
This is heartfelt & not an excuse to start a flame war, I respect Souvy & enjoy the vast majority of his posts.
This just leaves a bad taste..

Sadly, I'm beginning to doubt that..
What a very quaint "Carry On" view you must have of the world... I've never seen a male gay friend of mine carry a handbag...
