This time I just stripped the casing off a hot Italian sausage and made two patties out of that.

Last Friday I found two vaguely acceptable pork chipolatas for an attempt at this exercise.

Monday afternoon OH hurls at me:

"What is this crap doing in the 'fridge?

"Deep fry experiment, darling"

"When exactly?"

"Why, this evening."

"Will that include the green bits?"

"Well, they are Bio"

Sound of bin slamming shut... :eek:
