That's good to hear! How are they with luggage etc, really strict? I noticed they say you are only allowed one piece of hand luggage whereas BA let you have two.

We're talking about Meridiana, don't panic!
It will be strict coming out of the UK, it is less so coming out of Italy and it is normal to see peeps with a handbag and a hold all. Btw a taxi from the airport is around 20€ or there is a bus during the day for about 4€ it goes to the main station in the centre.

Fingers crossed I will be ok then but will probably put my handbag in my small roller case to be sure.
Thanks for the taxi info as well

I'm going to be in Florence for at least 6 months so you may find me asking you more questions! The last minute nerves ahead of my move are definitely starting to set in!

Don't worry - Flo is an easy city to get to know and pretty safe for lone women. Just take the normal amount of care you would in any city. The weather is cooling down too so it will be a little easier to settle in and get to look around.
