paperbased applications thread

Hey, that's where we're headed! Keep us posted on where you land. I'll be very interested in following that thread.
Our MED were mailed from the US the first week of September - but haven't arrived yet!
I sent an email last week inquiring if they were there - no I was told.
Can't imagine where they are! Called the Panel Doctor last week asking for more information about the courier/tracking number. No reply. I'll call again today.

dont understand why agents still use paperbased, especially so long after system was put into place. why are they taking so long to process these applications?? i'm moaning at waiting from march but as you know there are people waiting from last year, it ridiculous that people are being granted visa from JUNE this year, (dont get me wrong, congrats to those who have got visas!) but their priority should be to go back to the earliest applications and process them from there. It really is like a lottery! :curse:

Hi all,
Probably going to sound a bit dim but does anyone know the website that has been mentioned on other threads, to find out your status, or is that only available for the sensible ones who have e-lodged.
ps hope you're all ok and not feeling too dispondant at the moment

Well i became a paperbased applicant on Monday this week when I lodged my RSMS application. I have no choice unfortunately as they dont do RSMS online. Frontloaded everything though and service standard is 5 months max so hopefully wont be waiting too long!

I need to update my posting name! Left NZ 6 weeks ago
Look, I thought The Secret was a load of cr*p but about 4 months ago I made a commitment to myself not to let life, bureaucracy or other people get the better of me and have been all about affirmative action ever since, and I think this is an extension of that. I think this is a combination of luck and making myself heard. I am still filled with righteous indiganation on the part of people waiting for the same kind of visa I just got granted since 2007 and really hope that this complaint form action marks the start of DIAC starting to act like the client service they claim to be. Everyone needs to get stuck into their lazy-ass Agents and keep DIAC on their toes. Go britishexpats
