Chris is right, we need to put some pressure on. Processing online applications submitted more than 6 MONTHS after some paper based applications is completely unacceptable.

I sent off a (carefully worded!!) complaint email - I encourage others to follow Chris's lead as well.

Mate - unfortunately I have a 30th next Saturday night but I will raise a schooner for you and Laura! What a lovely happy ending to an immigration fairytale

Congrats to Sharkiebites!
Catching up as usual. Any other movement for anybody?
I am considering phoning our agent this week. Dec 17th lodge date and still waiting. Keep your fingers crossed because we have a viewer who is coming for second look later in the week. If we get a sale this delay will seem infuriating
Will have a good read through later but am being hassled to death by my kids at the mo!

Chased our agent earlier this week to be told they are currently processing visas from the end of November and as our lodgement date was mid February (took our application into agent personnally mid Jan) it will be a while yet before we hear anything.

Great hey!!! :curse: Especially when April online applications are getting their visas.

Unfortunately the DIAC charter says 12 months for our kind of visa, the 176, so we'd actually be lucky to get it any earlier than next year. No consolation I know but there it is.

Ooooh that could be good for me as I applied end of November except if you look on the BE timeline only 2 people from Nov out of 17 have their paper visas.

Yeah there was like a flurry of Octobers and now it's gone quiet again. Are they all at home watching the AFL?!

Hi all,

Our agent stated yesterday had a couple of febs and aprils with co's so some paperbased applications are getting through, why oh why do we pay these experts only to find out we would have been better doing it ourselve's on line, hindsight is most definately a wonderful thing. Unfortunatly or fortunately dont intend doing this again, so what lesson is to be learned, just bad luck on our parts I expect. We applied for a 175 modl may. Still have house to sell, so not too much of a panic, trouble is we've lost all will to live (in this country anyway!!!)

Your agent has paperbased clients who applied in February and April who have visas? Hmmm. I am skeptical. I am so skeptical, I think he might actually be using BEUPDATE. Ask him what happened to his March applicants?!

What was their excuse for using paper? Useless cowboys!
