The official reply is always the same: "Can take up to 18 months, and your CO will be allocated when your application is reviewed".
So what else can I do but wait?
VERY frustrating !
I think you are being given the runaround. How dare they start processing 2008 paper applications and leave you hanging! Are you independent or with an agent?

Mind you - are you really living in Aruba!! There are much worse places to wait

Thanks for the congrats folks Feeling a little worse for wear this morning, lol! Think the celebrations may carry over till the weekend as well

We are hoping to go to Adelaide and ideally we would like to be there asap, but the damned house has to sell first Already dropped 30K off price but thinking we might just drop the price right down and hope to get a buyer soon.

Paula, am sure I will see you at some time. Well done on Lee's tra results. bet you were over the moon to get that? Still thinking of Perth? Bet you get there before us, lol

Thanks again everybody

Hi Paula, just been looking at flights and prices and so on and have nearly had a cardiac! lol. Don't suppose you know when the easter holidays are for next year do you? We were thinking of going over then for a month to have a good look around and get the feel of the place. Thought we might start at Adelaide and maybe have a look around Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane as well. Going to be pretty exhausting with five kiddies in tow

Speak soon

Jacky -

I hear you on the flight prices! We have 4 children - so similar situation. I've been watching the prices climb steadily as the oil prices have climbed.

Good luck with your plans!
