Have had another estate agent round - now 10,000 less on asking price Already reduced by 15,000 ). Still, after moping around this afternoon we have decided to carry on regardles - the delays on paper applictions may prove to be a blessing for us. Still like to drop in here now and again though, such a nice crowd Lou

My house is going on the market next week and I'm starting at £10k below valuation - thinking I'm gonna have to go even further to sell it - fingers crossed!!!

Booking EAs to start the process from Wed - can't bear to hear what they will have to say!

THought I would quickly post and see how many paper based people from this thread are still waiting.....?
May give me hope !
My timeline is in my signature.....so as you can see, I have been waiting almost a year. I post fairly regularly on the Aug 07 post, but just thought I would see if there is anyone hiding out here and if anyone has any good news from ASPC?

We're thinking of reducing ours by 10k. Our EA told us that last week they only had 3 viewings in total.

Good thing the prices are reducing in Oz too.

No - not from a high risk country. I phone ASPC once a month, and the "official reply" currently is that they are processing visa's submitted on the 25th June 07. I cannot believe that as there are so many people after that date that have received visa's so there obviously is not alot of strict allocation in the processing. The official reply is always the same: "Can take up to 18 months, and your CO will be allocated when your application is reviewed".
So what else can I do but wait?
VERY frustrating !
